Like in the old days when the “Little Friends” were escorting the B-17s over the sky of Berlin. In modern days warbird organizations often come together to offer warbird ride programs combining different type of aircraft. The CAF Dixie Wing has previously  partnered up with The B-25 “Maid in Shade” as well as other aircraft.Today we received the confirmation that the CAF Dixie Wing P-51 Mustang “Red Nose” will join the Liberty Foundation’s tour in Thomasville,GA,Jacksonville and Tampa, FL. The Liberty Foundation for the  2013 “Salute to Veterans” tour has flown the B-17G “Memphis Belle” while waiting for the restoration on the organization’s B-17 “Liberty Belle”. The Memphis Belle, a “Flying Fortress,” bomber and namesake of the movie, “Memphis Belle”. The P-51″Red Nose” was the plane that launched the Confederate Air Force (now Commemorative Air Force). It was acquired by the founding members of the CAF including Loyd P. Nolen himself. This airplane is not only historically significant, but it is thoroughly engrained in the CAF’s heritage as well. 1. Pls send/email another receipt/ltr telling what portion of my great P51 ride was a tax donation. I paid $1,595 and I believe the allowable deduction was $1196.25. The AMEX payment transaction was dated 4/614

The numbers are correct I believe but I need a hard copy for proof—in case of IRS inquiry! Thnx!!
