Also scheduled to appear are the CAF Dixie Wing’s North American P-51 Mustang “Red Nose, the Beechcraft C-45 Expediter “Bucket of Bolts,” a T-6 Texan and a Stearman Speedmail. All of the planes will be available for flight experiences and cockpit tours, “FIFI” flies at 9:00 and 10:30AM on the 22nd and the other planes will be available to fly on demand.

Another star of the tour will be one of the two flying SBD Dauntless left in the world based in Peachtree City ( South of Atlanta), home of the CAF Dixie Wing.

Pricing for flight experiences start as low as $65.00 and range from relatively sedate flights aboard a troop transport to what the organizers describe as a “high intensity” flight experience, strapped into one of the premiere aerial fighters of the Second World War, the P-51 Mustang, as their expert pilot puts the plane through its paces.

Admission to the event is only $10 per person and $5 for kids over 5 or $20.00 for the entire nuclear family and includes a free cockpit tour of the Superfortress. Discounted flight experiences are available by booking online, so if you’re intending to fly, by all means visit the Airpower History Tour website to schedule your flight and save yourself some dollars.
