Explore Aviation History and Be Inspired The Strategic Air & Space Museum is committed to providing guests with engaging experiences that will inspire the young – and the young at heart – as they explore the importance of Aviation in American History. The experience begins with our permanent exhibits highlighting aviation history, the role our aircraft and spacecraft played in history, and the people who served. We offer interactive educational exhibitions and programs that focus on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum. Restoration The Strategic Air & Space Museum takes great pride in our aircraft restoration program. We have an on-site restoration facility and guests can watch through our viewing deck as our volunteers work on bringing the aircraft back to their original glory. Education Each year, the museum serves thousands of school children through a variety of field trips, camps, overnight programs, and school community outreach demonstrations. Our education staff is focused on providing quality STEM related, cross-curriculum, programs that meet state standards and engage students with interactive lessons. Our educators are field experts and work with children one-on-one to improve critical thinking skills with interactive tactics and tools in areas of robotics, design challenges, science experiments, littleBits technology, the four forces of flight, and focus on customized cross curriculum STEM subjects.
