Come be a part of our first Open Weekend of the season, starting on 22-24 October 2016!
The Vintage Aviator’s flying collection of up to 20 different World War One aircraft types is available for public viewing on weekends throughout the operational season (November- April).
The informative guided tours bring the history of each aircraft to life. From wood and fabric construction, ‘spinning’ rotary engines and the world’s first synchronised machine guns, the era’s technical and aerodynamic advancements will astound.
Guided tours recall the courage of airmen flying in open cockpits and freezing conditions, without parachutes, radios or heaters! With a focus on the great flying aces, aircraft designers and innovators of WWI, guided tours will appeal to visitors of all ages.
